The world leading hospitality group Accor, has announced the expansion of its all-inclusive market. The brand's all-inclusive Collection will expand by building onto the success of the Rixos brand, it will incorporate the key strengths of the Accor brands leading the group into the luxury and premium markets. With the twenty plus years of experience that the Rixos have within the luxury- all-inclusive market, the brand plans to offer an exciting and memorable experience globally.

In 2016 the partnership between Accor and Fettah Tamice, the founder of Rixos Hotel and now  Chairman of the Board of Rixos Hotels, proved to have great success tripling its network for the last five years. Being the global leader of the luxury-all-inclusive segment, Rixos has made itself the dominant leader in markets consisting in the Middle East, Turkey and Central Asia with 24 hotels and over 10,000 rooms with a further 26 hotels with over 14,000 rooms.

“I am incredibly proud of the success Rixos has achieved in the five years as part of the Accor portfolio. Together, Accor and Rixos complement each other’s market-leading expertise, and the All-Inclusive Collection is the next step in accelerating their positions in the sector. This new initiative comes at a time when the demand for all-inclusive stays could not be stronger and now is the right time to leverage this positive trajectory. I am excited and pleased to continue my partnership with Accor with this expanded brand portfolio” says the chairman of Rixos Hotels.

When building on the success that Rixos Hotels has, Accor plans to expand its all-inclusive offers by adding its luxury and premium brands with Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Swissôtel and Mövenpick in the Collection.

With the Rixos’ expertise in children’s clubs, fitness and watersports, entertainment programs and activities have been curated for both day and evening. This will grow Rixos central role in building its programming for outdoor activities and MICE. With breathtaking shows and performances, guests can look forward to an unforgettable experience.

The Collections programming is inspired and led by Carte Blanched, Ennismore’s F&B Concept Lab, with the goal of being able to provide diverse and culturally relevant cuisines and culinary experiences. Ennismore is the lifestyle platform by Accor in a joint venture with Sharan Pasricha.

The places that have been selected show a very promising growth in the all-inclusive segment in order to reach their target markets. Initially the collection only focused on the further expansion of Rixos’ footprint of 50 properties in the network and pipeline and will scale and diversify as part of a long term multi-branded strategy of having over 100 all-inclusive resorts in the next 5 years.

“The post-Covid travel market is witnessing a renewed desire for leisure stays. Accor’s strategic decision to double down on the all-inclusive segment, the fastest growing sector in this market and build upon its success with Rixos, capitalizes on this opportunity. The new luxury and premium All-Inclusive Collection, reinforces our business model while increasing our exposure and value proposition for hotel owners” said Gaurav Bhushan, CEO of Accor Lifestyle & Entertainment, Co-CEO of Ennismore.

The Collection is set to open including: Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha, Rixos Qetaifan Doha, which includes one of the world’s largest waterparks. Both these resorts will open in time for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Also opening later this year is the Swissôtel Sharm el Sheikh, the first non-Rixos branded property in the All-Inclusive Collection with 1,350 rooms, a water park, multiple dining, beach club and entertainment facilities.
