Nai Lert Butler, the first and only butler training service in Thailand, is holding two training sessions covering Royal Butler Service Essentials and Professional Housekeeping Training on 1-5 October and 6-7 October, respectively.
The Royal Butler Service Essentials Training Program is an intensive course, certified and trained by the British Butler Institute. The program aims to inculcate hotel staff with the customs and traditions of a professional British butler, while retaining their Thai authenticity.
Professional Housekeeping Training will prepare hotel staff to take the guest experience to another level, making sure every detail of their service is on point. The course emphasizes the raising of standard housekeeping skills to surpass customer expectations.
“The key to excellent service is to keep on training,” said Gary Williams, the Principal of the British Butler Institute. “We believe that the guest experience still relies highly on the service and staff interactions with the customers, therefore, it is important that hotels keep training their staff to meet the customers’ needs.”
After completing his own butler training and graduating at the top of his class, Gary was appointed to his first position at the Ritz, London, as Head Butler. He has also worked for many influential people, including Royal family members, famous IT billionaires, and prominent musicians and artists. With this hands-on experience in the luxury sector, Gary is now entrusted by the British Butler Institute to deliver the finer details of his craft through the service training school.
Gary believes that butler service is not just for luxurious hotels, but for all accommodation providers who value high standards of customer service.
“The demand for fine service is growing at an alarming rate,” he stated. “Guests want great experiences and we, as service providers, should be able to deliver our service to match their needs.”
