Marriott International Continues to Expand in the Chinese Market

Marriott International (NASDAQ: MAR) continues to expand its development in China with the recent opening of Hangzhou Marriott Hotel Qianjiang, under the flagship Marriott Hotels brand in Qianjiang New Town CBD, Hangzhou. Under the management agreement with Hangzhou UDC Group, this hotel is the first Marriott Hotels brand in Hangzhou, known as “Paradise on Earth” and renowned for its natural beauty, enabling guests to travel brilliantly in this fabulous destination.

Hangzhou Marriott Hotel Qianjiang enjoys a unique geographical location in Qianjiang New Town CBD by the Qiantang River overlooking the breathtaking view of river tide. Next to the metro line, the hotel has convenient transportation accessibility. It is just a 34-minute drive from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, and a 20-minute drive from Hangzhou East Railway Station.

It is a perfect location for both small and large scale gatherings, private meetings and opulent gala events. The 300-square-meter outdoor lawn terrace by the river can accommodate up to 200 guests, making it a very desirable venue for weddings and cocktail parties.
