Chinaccelerator, China’s leading startup accelerator, has partnered with two of their hospitality-focused portfolio companies, Portier Technologies and ATIOM, to deliver a hospitality event that takes an unbiased approach and focuses on the crossroads of guest experience, technology and the importance of guest services history.
The premise of Smart Hospitality Forum is to have an open conversation with critical viewpoints, however without promoting companies, products, and services. The Forum is to focus on the transition of guest experience from the past to the future. Speakers include the likes of Brett Henry, President of MG Group. Furthermore, there will also be valuable contributions from Swire Hotels, LKF Group, and others. A wine tasting segment is included in the networking session at the end of the event.
“In a crowded market that has seen many external providers focus on replacing hospitality staff for efficiency’s sake, we feel as though the value of personnel has been overlooked. It is critical to differentiate between enhancing and actually replacing staff, as the outcome of either philosophy will have a significant impact on guests,” said Matt Spriegel, CEO of ATIOM.
The event is a great opportunity for hotel enthusiasts and hoteliers to learn as to what the best approach is when it comes to marrying corporate needs and early-stage startup company capabilities. With this, Chinaccelerator hopes to bring the two parties together in the most effective form.
