The ‘Rose of the North’ has welcomed a new luxury benchmark with the soft opening of The Chiang Mai Riverside, an exclusive hospitality experience distinguished by exceptionally personalised service, exceedingly spacious suites and an air of elegance and refinement overlooking the Ping River.

The unveiling is the realisation of a bold vision to provide the Kingdom’s northern capital with a unique hotel residence concept that offers Lanna-inspired all-suite accommodation, 24-hour butler service, high-end digital Apple entertainment systems and a unique ‘Local Knowledge’ concierge offering insider access and deeper connections to the ‘real’ Chiang Mai.

Teerawut Chanyasak, CEO of the Vorrawut Group, the hotel’s owner-operator, said he was delighted to begin welcoming guests. The new hotel exemplified Vorrawut Group’s promise of ‘Integrated Solutions for Quality Living’, the thread which links the group’s upscale residential property ventures, interior design studio for residential, retail and commercial developments, furniture design studio and turnkey project management service.

“This represents the realization of a vision to utilize the inspiring pool of talent our group contains to create something Chiang Mai has not seen before,” K. Teerawut said. “That is, a gracious, stately all-suite hotel with refinement and sophistication at every turn, the sort of private butler service you would expect from a grand old European hotel, and a service connecting guests to the most authentic and fascinating experiences in and around our charming ‘Rose of the North’.”

The Chiang Mai Riverside’s General Manager, Axel de Boynes, said privacy and luxury were the watchwords that set the new hotel apart and would remain its unwavering focus.

“We are a little different,” Mr de Boynes said. “Our room count is small, but we feel our intimacy is unmatched. Our privileges and perks are considerable, but our priority is personalised service and the human touch.

“Above all, we offer space. Space for guests to spread their wings and relax into their escape, the better to savour the elegant, Lanna-inspired accents and creature comforts of our hotel residence.”

The Chiang Mai Riverside is owned by Chiang Mai-based Vorrawut Property Development Co.,Ltd., a subsidiary of Vorrawut Group. Their vision for hospitality is to draw on the rich traditions and service culture of their home town of Chiang Mai and take guests on a journey into a world of sophistication, refinement while opening a window to the ancient Lanna kingdom.
